Good morning. Are you ready to start this amazing China trip after a sound sleep? Your morning is set for Tian’anmen Square, the world’s largest square where the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China was held here. Behind the square, stands the Forbidden City, a treasure trove with many collections hidden in. Go with the guide to explore and understand more about this imperial palace.

It is almost lunch time after the Forbidden City exploration. Lunch will be arranged in the nearby local restaurant, where you could try the authentic local Beijing cuisine.

After lunch, you will experience one of the quintessence of Chinese culture, the Peking opera. You will have the chance to wear opera clothing, make up and learn some simple Peking opera movements with the teacher’s guidance at Tianleyuan Theatre. It is a great opportunity to learn Chinese culture.

Morning tour to the largest surviving altar complex in China, Temple of Heaven. Take a Taichi lesson here with the master’s guidance.

After the morning exercise and sightseeing, drive about 1.5 hours from the city area to Mutianyu Great Wall. It is the essence of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall with over 90% vegetation coverage rate. One way chairlift and slide way are arranged for you to save energy and have fun. If you have more energy, you can do some hiking on the Great Wall.

Drive about 15km from the city centre and take in the stunning view in the imperial summer resort, Summer Palace. Except for the chilly winter, boat cruise is usually available in the Kunming Lake, which allows you a different angle to see the garden.

Lunch will be arranged nearby in the local restaurant. After that, drive back to the city centre and visit Yonghegong Lama Temple, where you could see the largest wooden Buddha statue in China, even the world and learn about Chinese Buddhism culture.

After that, pay your homage to Confucius at Confucian Temple and continue your exploration to the nearby Guozijian Ancient Imperial School, the only existing ancient imperial central college in Beijing.

Summer PalaceSummer Palace

While the emperors lived in the palace, the locals lived in Hutong area in the past. Get lost in the Hutongs and talk with the locals you encounter on the road. Feel the Hutong atmosphere by watching ground calligraphy and hearing the sound of Hutong.

Try your hands at the Chinese calligraphy and feel the charm of Chinese culture and characteristics with the teacher’s guidance and fee at Hutong area before going for lunch.

After finishing the tour and lunch, the driver will transfer you to the airport directly for your international flight home. The guide will help you with the airport check-in. Wave your hands at the airport check-in gate.
