Hong Kong is a shopping paradise, so some free time is suggested. The first stop of your tour is Chen Ancestral Shrine, a cultural relic and an important site built during the reign of Guangxu Emperor with donations collected from Chen family members living in 72 counties in the Guangdong Province. Today, be ready to get up earlier as you will enjoy the most quintessential scenery in Guilin, the Li River by taking a relaxing big boat cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. It is said that Guilin landscape tops those elsewhere, and Yangshuo landscape tops that of Guilin.

Head directly to West Street after disembark. It has a history of more than 1,400 years and is considered the oldest street in Yangshuo, full of restaurants that are Chinese and Western style, handcraft and souvenir stores, snack stalls, Western bars, cafes, hotels with different styles, and so on.

Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge is a link between villages. The pavilion on the bridge is for people to rest, gather and chat as well as a shelter from rain, thus it is called "Wind and Rain Bridge". Visit the Dong villages and attend their lively Zhuang Song Festival. There are folk song singing, sparkler-grabbing, bronze drum playing, embroidered ball throwing, which are very interesting and good for you to get close to the minority custom.

After lunch in the village, you will be transferred to Mapang Drum Tower. It was first built as a meeting place for the locals and also a place for message passing through drum beating.

After breakfast, do directly to the train station for the train to Guiyang. Instead of going to the hotel, the guide and driver will pick you up from the train station and go directly to the sightseeing place. Your first stop is Qianling Park, which takes the name from Qianling Mountain in the park. It boasts clear waters, green mountains, tranquil forests and old temples, a good place to relax.

Jiaxiu Pavilion got its names since the builder believed that people in Guiyang are the finest and most talented under heaven. That is the internal meaning of Jiaxiu in Chinese.

Wake up naturally. Drive to Kaili after breakfast. There are more minority villages waiting for you to explore. Firstly, you will visit Matang Gejia Village, which is quiet and pleasant due to the lush tea tree and Masson pine.

Kaili Ethnic Minorities Museum is the best place for a quick look at the customs of the minority people in Kaili. With more than 12,000 items in its collection, it has a detailed introduction to the human geography and ethnic customs of minority people in Qiandongnan.

Experience the simple and original life in Qingman Miao Village, where visitors will be welcomed by the singing and dancing to the big drumbeats. You will also have a chance to taste the homemade rice whisky, which stands for the beginning of the friendship. Shiqiao Village is one of the villages where villagers continue to earn their living by producing and selling hand-made papers and products. Visit it and watch the process of making paper.

Next village is Jidao Long Skirt Miao Village, where you will also enjoy the welcome ceremony. Lusheng is the characteristic musical instrument played primarily by Miao and Dong minorities in Guizhou province. In Paika, the making of Lusheng is taught by example, without any written records. During your visit, you will have the chance to see the process of making Lusheng.

If you happen to travel during the Sister Meal Festival, you are lucky to be able to eat four-color rice, see beautiful ethnic costumes and enjoy the singing and dancing.

Or if you come in Guizhou at the 15th day of the first lunar month, you will celebrate the Lusheng Festival in Zhouxi with the minority people. The girls dress up in their best traditional costume and silver headdresses, while the boys carry their Lusheng and head to the Lusheng Stadium to celebrate the festival.

After breakfast in the hotel, head to your next destination, Zhaoxing. Explore more minority villages. The primitive Basha Miao Village is your first stop. The residents here still live in their wooden houses, practice centuries-old customs and have their own unique beliefs.

Hidden in the hills and rice fields, Huanggang Dong village is quite difficult to access and this is what makes it so authentic.

The last site of today’s tour is Zhaoxing Dong Village, which is famous for the 5 drum towers and the flower bridge.
