Xiapu is known as "the most beautiful mudflat in China". Though controversial, it is still a dream place for photography lovers. The common scenes like sunrise, sunset, working on the mudflat, hanging oyster and fishing raft naturally form a beautiful picture under the special light and shadow. Capture all these special scenes with your camera during this photography tour.

Customizable Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Xiapu, pick up from Xiapu train station, sunset at Xiaohao Mudflat, transfer to the hotel
Arrival in Xiapu, you will be greeted by our enthusiastic guide, who is holding your name plate. You will be escorted to Xiaohao Mudflat, a famous place for shooting sandiness mudflat and sunset. Capture the shining mudflat under the beautiful sunset. .It is said to be the best time to come here in August when t the light and shadow on the mudflats are excellent.
Then you will be transferred to hotel and helped with the check-in.

Day 2 Sunrise at Beidou, Shajiang, rest in the hotel, Sunset at Dongbi
Get up early and head to Beidou mudflat for the sunrise shooting. Besides the sunrise, you could also see that fishermen return with loads of fish and girls weaving and mending fishing nets.
Come back to the hotel for breakfast and some rest. You could explore the surrounding beaches and take more pictures.
In the late afternoon, head to Dongbi for the amazing sunset. The golden light of the falling sun makes a golden dress for the mudflat and the sea. What an amazing picture.

Day 3 Sunrise at Huazhu Village, Yangjiaxi Village, rest in the hotel, Xiaqingshan Bridge
Huazhu Village is located at a commanding position. As a result, it is a good place to shoot the buoy and bamboo pole in a close range, fishing rafts and wooden houses in a middle range, islands and shadow of sails at a far distance. In particular, the sunrise is the most magnificent.
Then move to Yangjiaxi Village, reputed as “Fairyland off the Sea” and “Little Mount Wuyi in East Fujian”. It is especially famous for its light and shadow effect under the groups of thousand - year - old banyan trees.
After lunch, go back to the hotel for some rest so that you can have more energy for the coming sunset. Xiaqingshan Bridge is your destination for the sunset shooting. Standing on the bridge, you could see the fabulous scene of the endless fishing rafts under the sunset. They are just like the floating towns on the sea.

Day 4 Sunrise shooting at Beiqi, Banyueli Village, Xiapu to Xiamen by bullet train
Get up early to capture the sunrise over the sea at Beiqi, one of the most wonderful shooting spots for Xiapu mudflat. Fishermen working on the sea and the shadow of the sails are what you should not miss.
Drive to your last stop at Xiapu, Banyueli Village, home to a number of people of the She ethnic minority, a distinct culture with over 300 years of history. Many ancient buildings and cultural relics are well preserved there.
A bullet train travel will bring you from Xiapu to Xiamen.

Day 5 Gulangyu Island (including Shuzhuang Garden and Piano Museum)
Today, you do not need to get up so early. After breakfast, take the ferry boat to Gulanyu Island. Wander along the winding small paths and hunt for some interesting souvenirs at shops. Get to the top of Sunlight Rock for more pictures, which is the highest point of the whole Island.
There are many famous pianists in China from this island, and the piano ownership rate is the highest in China. Therefore, the Piano Museum worth a visit. Besides, do not miss the Shuzhuang Garden.

Day 6 Xiamen to Nanjing by private transfer (about 1.5 hours), Tianluokeng tulou cluster, Taxia village, Yuchanglou, private transfer to Yongding (about 2 hours)
After breakfast, drive about 1.5 hours to Nanjing where you will have the chance to shoot the world heritage, tulou. The first tulou you will visit is Tianluokeng tulou cluster, which is one of the better known groups of Fujian Tulou. The cluster consists of a square earth building at the center of a quincunx, surrounded by four round earth buildings (or more exactly, 3 round earth buildings and one oval shape earth building). Then move to Taxia Village, not only an exquisite Hakka Village but also a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. Here you will visit a local Hakka family, chat with them to get to know their life and learn to make glutinous rice cake and Hakka cuisines. Enjoy lunch with them after the lesson.
At the end of the day, stop by Yuchanglou, the oldest and largest round tulou currently known.
After the Nanjing tour, go to Yongding by private transfer, where you will spend a night.

Day 7 Chuxi Tulou Cluster, Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, back to Xiamen by private transfer (about 2.5 hours)
In the morning, pay a visit to Chuxi Tulou Cluster, one of the representatives of Yongding Tulou and listed on the World Heritage List. Ascend to the observation deck and you will get a whole picture of Chuxi Tulou.
Then move on to Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, which boasts of over 40 tulou buildings different in shape and size, circular, square, rectangular, crescent and with some variations.
Drive back to Xiamen for one more night.

Day 8 Xiamen Island Ring Boulevard, Hulishan Fortress, The 8th Market, South Putuo Temple
Take a leisure stroll along Xiamen Island Ring Boulevard to feel the sea breeze and breathe the fresh air in the morning. Continue to see the biggest and smallest cannons in the world at Hulishan Fortress. And there are many ancient military facilities and weapon, such as the emplacement, the barracks, the castle, the trench, double-edged swords and firelocks.
Head to observe the local life of Xiamen people at the 8th Market. Lastly, explore South Putuo Temple, which is very famous for its collection of Buddhist cultural relics, such as a Burmese jade carving of the Buddha, some important Buddhist texts.

Day 9 Xiamen Departure
At the confirmed time, the driver and guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and transfer you to the airport for your international flight home. The guide will help you with the airport check-in. Wave your hands at the airport check-in gate.
