Day 1 Guiyang Arrival
Welcome to Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province. After landing, meet the guide at the arrival hall, who is holding your name plate. Be escorted to the hotel in a private vehicle with an experienced driver. Rest of the time is on your own arrangement.

Day 2 Qianling Park including Hongfu Temple, Jiaxiu Pavilion, Qingyan Ancient Town
Today, your first stop is Qianling Park, which takes the name from Qianling Mountain in the park. It boasts clear waters, green mountains, tranquil forests and old temples, a good place to relax.
Head to Jiaxiu Pavilion, which got its names since the builder believed that people in Guiyang are the finest and most talented under heaven. That is the internal meaning of Jiaxiu in Chinese.
Although small in size, the Qingyan Ancient Town has a well-planned architectural style, hundreds of sites of relics, and an influential local culture.

Day 3 Private transfer to Kaili (2hrs), Matang Gejia Village, Kaili Ethnic Minorities Museum
Wake up naturally and drive to Kaili after breakfast. There are more minority villages waiting for you to explore. Firstly, you will visit the Matang Gejia Village to see the daily life of Gejia people (a sub branch of Miao minority).
Kaili Ethnic Minorities Museum is the best place for a quick look at the folk customs in Kaili. With more than 12,000 items in its collection, it has a detailed introduction to the human geography and ethnic customs of minority people in Qiandongnan.

Day 4 Qingman Miao Village with Welcome Ceremony, Shiqiao Village, Jidao Long Skirt Miao Village with Welcome Ceremony, Paika Miao Village with Lusheng Making Presentation
Experience the simple and original life in Qingman Miao Village, where the women wear a kind of traditional short-skirt. You will have a chance to taste the homemade rice whisky, which stands for the beginning of the friendship. Shiqiao Village is one of the villages where villagers continue to earn their living by producing and selling hand-made papers and products. Visit it and watch the process of making paper.
Next village is Jidao Long Skirt Miao Village, where you will also enjoy the welcome ceremony. Lusheng is the characteristic musical instrument played primarily by Miao and Dong minorities in Guizhou province. In Paika, the making of Lusheng is taught by example, without any written records. During your visit, you will have the chance to see the process of making Lusheng.

Day 5 Sister Meal Festival (The 15th day of the 3rd Lunar Month) or Lusheng Festival in Zhouxi (The 15th day of the first lunar month)
If you happen to travel during the Sister Meal Festival, you are lucky to be able to eat four-color rice, see beautiful ethnic costumes and enjoy the singing and dancing. Sisters’ Meal Festival is known as the oldest oriental Valentine’s Day. The Miao people celebrate it on the fifteenth of the third lunar month and it often lasts 3 days.
Or if you come in Guizhou at the 15th day of the first lunar month, you will celebrate the Lusheng Festival in Zhouxi with the minority people. The girls dress up in their best traditional costume and silver headdresses, while the boys carry their Lusheng and head to the Lusheng Stadium to celebrate the festival.

Day 6 Private transfer from Kaili to Zhaoxing, Basha Miao Villages, Huanggang Dong Village, Zhaoxing Dong Village
After breakfast in the hotel, head to your next destination, Zhaoxing. The primitive Basha Miao Village is your first stop. The residents here still live in their wooden houses, practice centuries-old customs and have their own unique beliefs.
Hidden in the hills and rice fields, Huanggang Dong village is quite difficult to access and this is what makes it so authentic.
The last site of today’s tour is Zhaoxing Dong Village, which is not only the home of the Drum Tower, but also the home of singing and dancing.

Day 7 Tang'an Dong Village, private transfer to the airport in Guiyang, exit China or head to your next destination
About 30 minutes driving from Zhaoxing Dong village and built on a steep mountain slope, ancient wooden houses, traditional drum tower, theater stage, and gravel yard adjacent to the residential houses are the Dong culture heritage of Tang'an Dong Village.
And then, drive back to Guiyang in the afternoon or to Guiyang airport directly for the departure.
