Founded in the Qing Dynasty, Guanqian Street is a famous commercial street in Suzhou. Being one of the earliest pedestrian streets in China, Guanqian Street has been a busy street for more than a century. The Xuanmiao Temple which is a prominent Taoist temple with a long history is located along the street.

Guanqian Street is now not only a commercial street, but also a cultural and religious center with sound traffic network and infrastructure. It is also well-known for the large number of century-old characteristic shops such as Caizhizhai Candy Store, Qiantaixiang Silk Shop, Huangtianyuan Pastry and Round Dumplings Shop, and Songhe Restaurant which feature Suzhou style.

Guanqian Street is a multiple functional street. Modern department stores, hotels, theaters, restaurants, teahouses, and so on line the street. It'd be a great pleasure for you to stroll around the street.
