Dunhuang's tourist routes are generally divided into the East Line and West Line. The East Line includes the Dunhuang city center, Mingsha Mountain, Crescent Spring, Mogao Caves, and Leiyin Temple. The West Line features attractions like the Western Thousand Buddha Caves, Yang Pass, Yumen Pass, and the Yardang Geological Park (also known as the Devil City). Four days is usually enough to visit the famous attractions along both the East and West Lines of Dunhuang.
