7 Days Fujian Itinerary for Family with Kids
Wuyi MountainDay 1: Arrive in Xiamen and visit Jimei School Village. In the afternoon, return to Xiamen Island and take the Zhonggu Cableway for a panoramic view of the city. In the evening head to Shapowei, where the charm of the old fishing harbor meets the energy of modern city.
Day 2: Catch a ferry to Gulangyu Island. Climb the Sunlight Rock, explore the Shuzhuang Garden, and visit the Organ Museum. In the evening, turn back to start your delicacy journey on Zhongshan Road, and do not miss a glimpse of Gulangyu's nightscape.
Day 3: Leave for Yunshuiyao, witness the pebble path and the century-old banyan trees, and visit the Tianluokeng Tulou cluster from above. In the afternoon, head to Yongding to witness the large Yongding Tulou cluster. In the evening, take a bus to Longyan.

Day 5: Arrive in Wuyishan, enjoy a bamboo raft ride along the Jiuqu River and reach the Wuyi Palace. Then head to the Yunv Peak for fun in the water, and you may also visit the Dahongpao Scenic Area to experience the tea culture in Fujian. Stay overnight in the Wuyi Mountain scenic area.
Day 6: On the second day, climb the Tianyou Peak, the summit in Wuyi Mountain, where you can overlook the winding Jiuqu River and surrounding mountains. In the afternoon, take a train to Fuzhou, explore the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys. In the evening, step in the Pingtan Island, you might witness the romantic wonder of "blue tears".
Day 7: Visit the spectacular sea-eroded sinkhole, Xianren Well. Then follow the northern road, stopping by the stone houses of Beigang Village and the black reefs of Jingsha and so on. Then turn back to Fuzhou, visit the Min River along the bank.

Day 6: Take a ferry to Gulangyu Island. Climb to the Sunlight Rock, for a 360° panoramic view of the diverse international architecture. In the afternoon, you may also visit Jimei School Village. In the evening, head to Dongshan Island.
Day 7: Head to the Jinluan Bay to admire the sunrise. Then take a boat trip to begin your ocean adventure. Visit the Fishbone Sandbar at low tide, then ride an electric scooter along the island's coastal road around Sufeng Mountain, enjoying scenic views all the way.

Day 4: Take a train to Xiamen and land on Gulangyu Island. Stroll through the charming lanes filled with exotic architecture and soak in the island's warm atmosphere. In the evening, return to Xiamen Island to explore Zhongshan Road or Taiwan Snack Street for a taste of local delicacies.
