2-day Sanya Itinerary for Family with Kids
Day 1: Arrival in Sanya and Yalong Bay Fun
Arrive in Sanya and begin your trip with a visit to Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, where you can enjoy forest scenery and panoramic views of the coastline.
Later, head to Yalong Bay Beach, where kids can have fun playing in the sand, digging and building sandcastles by the shore.
Stay overnight in Yalong Bay for a relaxing beachside evening.
Day 2: Houhai Village and Sanya Rice National Park
In the morning, Explore the Queen’s Bay in Houhai Village. The shallow, crystal clear waters make it an ideal spot for children to try snorkeling. Kids can easily spot small fish swimming around their feet, creating a safe and exciting close up marine experience.
In the afternoon, visit Sanya Rice National Park, where children can take part in hands on activities such as planting rice seedlings in the fields and catching fish, turning farming culture into a fun and educational experience.

In the morning, visit Nanshan in the morning when temperatures are cooler. The scenic area is quite large, so taking the electric sightseeing cart is highly recommended. After Daxiaodongtian, head to Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone, home to the iconic 108-meter-tall Sea Guanyin, the largest Guanyin statue in southern China. The scenic area is quite large, so taking the electric sightseeing cart is highly recommended. Explore Nanshan Temple, blessing sites, and enjoy sweeping ocean views.
In the afternoon, head to Tianya Haijiao (Approx. half hour’s drive), is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Stroll along the coast, see the famous engraved boulders, and enjoy the romantic atmosphere.
Return to downtown Sanya, ending a relaxed yet culturally rich day.
