This guide will provide you with a detailed itinerary for an unforgettable two–week trip, ensuring that you can explore Guizhou to the fullest without missing out on its wonders.

Day 1: After arriving in Guiyang, rest briefly at your hotel before the dinner. After that, turn to watch Jiaxiu Tower and explore local delicacies in the Qingyun Night Market.

Day 2: Visit Huaxi Yelang Valley in the morning, see those unique and mysterious stone pillars and gorges filled with artistic character. After that, head to Qingyan Ancient Town, an ideal spot for photography. In the evening, return to the city center.

Day 3: In the morning, visit Qianlingshan Park and climb to the summit for a panoramic view of Guiyang City. In the afternoon, stop by Wenchang Pavilion. After dinner, you can head up to the top of Karst Park to enjoy Guiyang's nightscape, and then explore Huguo Road for delicious local food.

Day 4: Head north to Wujiangzhai Tourist Resort, enjoy the landscape of the traditional Jiangnan water town and the breathtaking terraced field. In the evening, there are also many performances to watch. Stay overnight in Zunyi City.

Day 5: Visit the Chishui Danxia and the Bamboo Sea Park to experience the magnificent craftsmanship of nature. In the afternoon, take a flight to Tongren for rest.

Day 6: One-day tour of Mount Fanjing. Climb to the summit to admire the sea of clouds and feel the vastness between heaven and earth. Then you can also visit the Yamu Valley. If you want to see the sunrise of Fanjing, you can camp on the mountain and wait for it.

Day 7: Hike through the Tongren Grand Canyon and experience the extraordinary natural scenery, where rafting, underground river boat rides, and high-altitude zip lines offer endless fun. Head to Zhenyuan Ancient Town for a meal, then enjoy the town's night views.

Day 8: Immerse yourself in this charming, mountainside riverside ancient town steeped in traditional beauty. In the evening, head to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, climb to the viewing platform to admire the thousands of lights illuminating the village.

Day 9: Experience the charm of the Miao culture in the village, and you may try the Miao intangible cultural heritage handicrafts. You may also see the Miao performance or experience the Miao snacks.

Day 10: Head to Libo and visit the Xiaoqikong Bridge, and then follow the route to see the waterfalls and forests along the way. Finally, arrive at Wolong Pond, where you can also enjoy a rafting experience. In the evening, stay at Libo.

Day 11: Explore the Maolan Nature Reserve. You may hike through the pristine forests, breathe in the fresh air, listen to birdsong and the hum of insects, and try to become one with nature. In the evening, head to Pingtan.

Day 12: In Pingtang, you can experience one of China's nine major scientific projects—the China Tianyan. Watch the largest radio telescope FAST, then explore the International Astronomy Experience Hall. In the evening, head to Anshun.

Day 13: Visit the Huangguoshu Scenic Area to view the Huangguoshu Waterfall. You can also walk behind the waterfall to experience its beauty from another perspective. Also other attractions such as Tianxing Bridge are not to be missed. In the evening, return to Guiyang.

Day 14: Spend the final day of your trip in Guiyang by cycling through the Huaxi Wetland, or visit the Colorful Guizhou City Polar Ocean World to see adorable marine creatures. Do whatever you wish before leaving Guizhou.

Day 1: After some rest at your reserved hotel. Come out for dinner in the evening, then followed by a visit to the night view of Jiaxiu Tower.

Day 2: Head to Qingyan Ancient Town to visit the Ming and Qing dynasty architecture and sample local delicacies. Return to the city center after dinner, and you can wander around Qingyun Night Market to explore the local delicacy.

Day 3: Head west to Zhijin and closely admire the uniquely shaped stalactites and karst wonders of Zhijin Cave. Then visit the nearby Zhijin Grand Canyon, which can be explored via the cliffside walkway or by boat. Afterward, continue on to Liupanshui to rest.

Day 4: In the morning, head to the Wumeng Grassland to experience the unique high-altitude prairie in Guizhou and the rich Yi ethnic culture. In the afternoon, drive to a Bouyei village at the foot of the Wanfenglin peaks in Xingyi and stay in it.

Day 5: Take a walk at the foot of Wanfenglin and visit the humble Bouyei villagers living among the vast golden Bagua Field. Then and take a sightseeing bus along the mountain road to enjoy the views of Wanfenglin. In the evening, turn to Xingyi city center.

Day 6: Head to the Maling River Canyon and hike through its mountain streams, where ancient trees line both sides, making you feel as if you are walking through a painting. In the afternoon, continue to the Huangguoshu Scenic Area and stay there for the night.

Day 7: Visit the world-famous Huangguoshu Waterfall and the nearby must-visit place Tianxing Bridge, and try to complete the entire walk if possible. In the evening, stay overnight in Anshun to ensure a good rest for the following journey.

Day 8: Drive to Tianlong Tunpu, where Ming-dynasty cultural heritage is well preserved and you can listen to the ancient and mysterious Ground opera. Return to Guiyang to rest.

Day 9: Take a train to the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, and nearby lies the Daqikong Scenic Area. In the evening, head to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and you can climb up to the viewing platform to overlook the brilliant, dazzling night scenery of the village.

Day 10: Feel the charm of a traditional Miao village, let yourself be fully immersed in the atmosphere here. You can try the Miao long-table banquet and enjoy the warm hospitality of the Miao people. Stay overnight at the village in a stilted house.

Day 11: Head to Zhaoxing Dong Village, enjoying the leisurely atmosphere and slow pace there. Also you take a boat on the river to feel the charm of the water town. In the evening, stay overnight in the village.

Day 12: Drive to Longji Terraces in Guilin. Depending on your stamina, you can take the cable car or hike up the hill to overlook the entire terraced landscape and appreciate nature's creation and the wisdom of labor. Finally, continue on to downtown Guilin.

Day 13: Go to Xingping Ancient Town in Yangshuo and take a boat on the Li River, then stroll around the county town. In the afternoon, go rafting on the Yulong River and enjoy the tranquility of drifting on a bamboo raft, feeling as if you are wandering inside a painting.

Day 14: On the last day, explore the attractions in downtown Guilin, such as Elephant Trunk Hill, the Sun and Moon Pagodas, and Dongxi Lane. These sights are fairly close to each other and can all be reached on foot..

Day 1: First visit Qingyan Ancient Town, where the Ming and Qing–style alleys are perfect for photography. In the evening, return to the city to visit the brilliantly lit Jiaxiu Tower, then stroll through Qingyun Night Market to discover authentic street food.

Day 2: Head to Libo and visit Xiaoqikong Bridge, and do not forget to watch the nearby Daqikong Bridge, enjoying Guizhou's karst landscape. Head to Congjiang and stay overnight at a stilted houses in Zhaoxing Dong Village.

Day 3: After visiting the Dong village, drive to the Tang'an Rice Terraces to admire their magnificent scenery. In the afternoon, head to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, wander around the ancient water town, feel the charm of the ethnic minorities in China. In the evening, the aesthetic nightscape is really a good sight that you would never miss.

Day 4: Head to Zhengyuan Ancient Town, take a walk and have a rest. In the afternoon, take a flight to Tongren and prepare for the next-day mountain climbing.

Day 5: Climb the mist-shrouded Mount Fanjing. Take the sightseeing bus and cable car up the mountain, then climb to the peak for photos. In the afternoon, descend the mountain and stay either at a hotel at the foot of the mountain or try RV camping. If you want to watch the sunrise of Fanjing, you should camp on the mountain or stay at the temple.

Day 6: Take a train to Chishui City, visit Bamboo Forest and Chishui Waterfall, and watch the Danxia landform of Buddhist Light Rock. In the evening, turn to Zunyi.

Day 7: Visit Maotai Town, where the aroma of liquor fills the air, an unmissable place for travelers who love liquor. If you are interested in military history, you can also learn about the movement of Four Crossings of the Chishui River.

Day 8: Head to Zhijin Cave, feeling the charm of Guizhou's karst cave. Then continue to Xingyi, stay overnight in the city center or a homestay at a Bouyei village.

Day 9: Visit Wanfenglin and Wanfenghu, the Bagua Fields, and the Bouyei ethnic villages successively. You can try a local Bouyei farmhouse meal, rent a bicycle to ride along the countryside trails, or wait for the stunning sunset over the golden mountains.

Day 10: Walk in Malinghe Grand Canyon, experience the exciting drift. Then you can take an elevator to the top and watch the overall view of the river valley

Day 11: Travel to explore magnificent Huangguoshu waterfall, walking through the Water Curtain Cave to experience the beauty of nature. In the evening, stay overnight at Anshun.

Day 12: Go to the Getu River Scenic Area, enjoying rock-climbing base, bungee jumping, skydiving, or wingsuit flying. You may also take a small boat into Swallow Cave, and at certain times you can even witness the Divine Light. Return to Guiyang in the evening.

Day 13: Visit Huaxi Yelang Valley, and after lunch, head to Huaxi Wetland to quietly enjoy the beauty of the Ten-miles Riverbank. You can also rent a bicycle and ride along the path, taking in the scenery as you go.

Day 14: After a leisurely time in Qianlingshan Park, see the lively monkey and watch the panorama of Guiyang. Also you can have a citywalk in the city center before leaving.

Day 1: After a break when arriving Guiyang, the first stop is Jiaxiu Tower. As night falls, the night sight of the pavilion becomes even more charming. Then head to Qingyun Night Market to experience Guiyang's vibrant nightlife.

Day 2: Visit the Guizhou Provincial Museum, explore the history and culture of Guizhou. After lunch head to the Qingyan Ancient Town, where you can admire the Ming and Qing-style architecture. in the evening, return to the city center.

Day 3: After visiting Wenchang Pavilion and having lunch, head to visit Tianlong Tunpu, enjoy the traditional Ground Opera. In the evening, stay at Anshun.

Day 4: Watch and explore Huangguoshu Waterfall, recognize the mountain and water of Guizhou. In the afternoon, head to Xingyi Wanfenglin and stay at a Bouyei village.

Day 5: Step into the Bouyei farmlands and experience their simple, authentic way of life. Then drive up to the top for a panoramic view of the beautiful karst peak clusters.

Day 6: Return to Guiyang to rest, then head to Huaxi Yelang Valley in the afternoon to see its unique stone sculptures and stone artworks.

Day 7: Leave for Xiasi Ancient Town, a melting pot of Miao, Muram and Han cultures. In the afternoon head to Kaili Dong Village, stay overnight in a stilted wooden guesthouse.

Day 8: Head to Delang Miao Village and then arrive in Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. Both of them are good place to experience the Miao custom. In the evening, you can enjoy the magnificent night view of the village on the viewing platform.

Day 9: In Xijiang Miao Village, you can experience the silver ornament making and Miao embroidery. In the afternoon, drive to Congjiang and visit the Jiabang terraced fields and stay overnight in Basha Miao Village.

Day 10: Wander in the mysterious village, China's last gun-bearing tribe. Then head to Zhaoxing Dong Village, where the ethereal Kam Grand Choirs sounds like music from heaven, and at night the drum tower by the water glows brilliantly like a field of stars.

Day 11: Head to visit Zhenyuan Ancient Town, and you can also cruise along the Wuyang River to see the beauty of Guizhou's mountains and waters. After dinner, stay at a guesthouse in the ancient town to rest, and enjoy the night view of the old town.

Day 12: Drive to the Buddhist sacred site Mount Fanjing. Ascend the sacred Buddhist site of the Red Cloud Golden Summit, and see the cliffside stone carvings, enjoying a sweeping view of the surrounding peaks. In the evening, stay at Tongren.

Day 13: Head to Fenghuang Ancient Town, the most famous ancient town near Tongren, known for its numerous historical buildings and rich ethnic minority culture. In the evening, head to Zunyi and check in for the night.

Day 14: Visit the Site of the Zunyi Conference to learn about that chapter of history which changed the fate of China. After lunch, head to Loushan Pass, the location of the Red Army's first victory during China's Long March.
