Huangguoshu WaterfallDay 1: Experience the Charm of Guizhou
Arrive in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou, and rest briefly at your hotel before heading to the Qingyan Ancient Town, where has a variety of local snacks and features charming ancient architecture and city walls. It is a great place to stroll around while tasting local delicacies, and also an ideal spot for photography. In the evening, return to the city center to watch Jiaxiu Tower and explore local delicacies along the snack streets.
Day 2: Encounter with the Beautiful Waterfall
Depart from Guiyang and head to the Huangguoshu Scenic Area to view the magnificent Huangguoshu Waterfall from the observation deck. You can also walk behind the waterfall to experience its beauty from another perspective. Afterwards, visit other attractions such as Tianxing Bridge, another highlight of the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. In the evening, you can stay overnight at Anshun or head to Pingtang.
Day 3: Enjoy a Tour of Chinese Technology
In Pingtang, you can personally experience one of China's nine major scientific projects—the China Tianyan. Begin your visit to FAST, the world's largest radio telescope, then explore the International Astronomy Experience Hall to uncover the mysteries of the universe. Listen to the explanations and immerse yourself in the vastness of space within the planetarium. In the evening, head to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and climb to the viewing platform to admire the thousands of lights illuminating the village.
Day 4: Explore the Beauty of the Miao Village
After breakfast, you can go up to the viewing platform again to enjoy the morning sight of the Miao village, and then watch Miao singing and dancing performances and experience the charm of the village. In the afternoon, try on traditional Miao clothing and appreciate the embroidery and silver ornaments. You may choose to stay in a stilted wooden guesthouse.
Day 5: Immerse in the Penjing-like Landscape
Head to the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. Start by visiting the Xiaoqikong Bridge, then follow the route to slowly admire the waterfalls and forests along the way. Finally, arrive at Wolong Pond, where you can also enjoy a rafting experience.

Head to the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. You can take a boat on Yuanyang Lake and immerse yourself in the water forest like a fairyland. Nearby is the Daqikong Scenic Area, where you can also experience its majestic scenery. In the evening, head to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and climb up to the viewing platform to overlook the brilliant, dazzling night scenery of the village.
Day 4: Immerse in the Simple Village
Feel the charm of a traditional Miao settlement. You can Sip a cup of freshly brewed tea, stroll along the ancient paths, or relax in a small boat—let yourself be fully immersed in the atmosphere here. You can try the Miao long-table banquet and enjoy the warm hospitality of the Miao people. Stay overnight at the village in a stilted house.
Day 5: Enjoy Your Leisurely Time
Before setting off, you may once again climb to the viewing platform to enjoy the beauty of the Miao village in the morning. Then return to Guiyang, head to Qianlingshan Park, where you can hike, enjoy the lake scenery, and watch lively monkeys. From the mountain top, you will get a panoramic view of Guiyang, a sight not to be missed if you are up for the climb.

After dinner, check in at a guesthouse in the ancient town to rest, and enjoy the night view of the old town.
Day 4: Explore the Buddhist Sacred Mountain
Drive to the Buddhist sacred site Mount Fanjing. Take a cable car up the mountain, walk through the primeval forest to climb the Golden Summit, ascend the sacred Buddhist site of the Red Cloud Golden Summit, and see the cliffside stone carvings, enjoying a sweeping view of the surrounding peaks. In the evening, head to Zunyi and check in for the night.
Day 5: Experience the Hard Time of China
In the morning, visit the Site of the Zunyi Conference to gain a deeper understanding of that chapter of history which changed the fate of China. After lunch, head to Loushan Pass, the location of the Red Army's first victory during the Long March. Climb up to the pass to experience its strategic steep terrain and admire the vast sea of clouds.
