Visit Ganden Monastery first, then rent a bicycle and ride all the way back to Lhasa along National Highway G318. From afar, catch sight of the majestic Potala Palace atop the Marpo Ri Hill, the long-awaited holy city of Lhasa finally comes into view.
Day 4: Encounter the Natural Wonders
Travel along National Highway 318, stopping at the Yarlung Zangbo River Valley viewing platform, then cross the snowy Gambala Mountain to encounter Yamdrok Lake, the highest freshwater lake in the world. Continue via Nagarzê to visit the Karola Glacier, which resembles a gigantic thangka, and finally return to Lhasa or rest nearby at Gonggar.

Return to Lhasa at night.
